Product Description
The SCB10 epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is made of high-quality materials and scientific formula, using advanced production testing equipment according to strict processes. The product has the characteristics of high reliability and long service life. According to different use environments, shells with different protection levels or no shells can be configured. Suitable for important or special environmental places such as high-rise buildings, commercial centers, airports, tunnels, chemical plants, nuclear power plants, ships, etc.
Product features:

7. The working temperature of three-phase winding can be displayed in circuit, and the fan can be started and stopped automatically, and alarm and trip functions can be set.
8. Small size, light weight, less space occupied and low installation cost.
Ambient temperature:
1. Max temperature +40℃,Daily average max temperature +30℃,Max yearly average temperature +20℃.
2. The elevation should not be beyond 1000m.
3. The voltage waveform for the power supply is almost like sine wave and three-phase power supply voltage is approximately symmetric.
4. Special conditions of use
Provided in the clients’ inquiry sheet in detail (such as, high elevation and ambient temperature higher than 40℃, etc.)
Cooling System
1. The product generally adopts natural air cooling (AN) and it can continuously output 100% rated load. For the transformers of any protection grade, they can be equipped wind cooling system. If necessary, forced air cooling (AF) can be adopted to improve output power for emergent use in the case of dropping coil temperature or short-time overload.
2. If the output load rate is more than 65% or the ambient temperature is very high, put it into the fan and cool the coil, which effectively decreases the coil’s on-load loss and drops its hot-point temperature-rise in order to reach double function, that is, energy conserving and prolonging the coil’s lifespan.
3. It is advised that the fan is started via automatic control of thermostat. In default, the thermostat of the company sets the transformer to start the fan under 120℃ and 100℃ fan stopping, 140℃ alarm and 155℃ tripping, so the clients need not adjust in general.
4. For normal running, every 1 kW loss (Po+Pk) needs 4m3/min ventilation rate in general. When the transformer is installed in basement or other environments with worse ventilation ability, a heat dissipation and ventilator should be added to help air circulation.
Warning: If the transformer starts the wind cooling equipment and it is run beyond nameplate’s capacity, check the transformer’s actual loss under real running load to confirm whether the ventilation of the transformer room meets the requirement. If the ventilation is not enough, the transformer’s heat dissipation might be difficult and the transformer will suffer serious influence.
